Sonic.net offers a range of services to suit the needs of any customer. Your monthly costs will be based on your bandwidth, IP allocation, and the size of your rack space. We offer pricing plans to suit individuals, small to medium businesses, and the largest corporations. Colocating your servers at Sonic.net gives you total control over your services and hardware!
Selecting your bandwidth
We offer two bandwidth measurement options, one based upon sustained transfer speeds and the other based upon total data transferred during the month.
On the sustained bandwidth transfer plan, your bandwidth is measured on 95% Peak Bandwidth usage, measured according to 5-minute averaged samples of which the top 5% are discarded. Additional usage is assessed at the current rate for usage in excess of 1/4 megabit at the end of every month.
On the total data transferred plan, your monthly costs are based on how many gigabyte's you use. Your will be charged for the total size of all transfers from your colocated machine, with a minimum of 10 Gigabytes per month.

Selecting the Rackspace or Cabinet that is right for you
Sonic.net offers full cabinets as well as half, fractional or 1U spaces. Ask us about our special rate on full cabinets!
A "U" is a standard unit of measure for designating the height in computer enclosures and rack cabinets. A U equals 1.75 inches. For example, a 4U chassis is 7 inches high. Many web servers, such as the RaQ 4 from Cobalt, fit perfectly in 1U worth of space.
